Old and rare books

I was recently asked if the bookstore has any rare books.

Of course we do. Can I name them....ahhha NO!

The books are in categories such as Western, Romance, Mystery.
There are rare books in each of the categories. But we do not have a section specifically for rare books. If a book has been pulled, it is either awaiting auction or is damaged or has no specific place in the store.

If you are looking for a western, the rare westerns are mixed right in with all the other books. Most rare books that we are tracking will be wrapped. Not all rare books are wrapped just as, not all wrapped books are rare. We also wrap complete series or damaged books.

We have rare hardback books. We have rare paperback books. If you are looking for something specific, just ask.

The price of the rare books will usually be a little more than the regular books. We may have a rare first edition next to the same book from a book club. The rare book will of course have a higher price tag.

The store also has a selection of books along the walls on top of the bookcases. The books that are not the encyclopedia sets are almost all printed prior to1960. These may or not be rare. They are un-categorized and have not been touched in at least 5 years. We will be taking these books down and categorizing them this summer.
